Paper Aquarium Craft
Introduction
In this project you will be making an underwater scene out of construction paper. In the example below I made a school of fish but you can use the general ideas in this craft and add your own sea creatures. Try creating jellyfish, starfish, sharks, crabs, shrimp and other underwater animals out of construction paper and pasting them to the background.
Materials
- construction paper - a variety of colors
- scissors
- glue sticks
- sequins
- google eyes
Instructions
Use green construction paper to make seaweed as shown in the picture. Glue this to the bottom of a blue piece of construction paper.
Using a piece of yellow or brown construction paper, cut out the sand piece and paste it to the bottom of the background paper.
Cut out fish shapes and sea weed shapes from construction paper using the picture above as a guide. Paste the shapes onto the background. Add sequins and google eyes. Now you have your very own paper aquarium!
